Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation. Serve food and beverages in person to guests with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, blenders, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions. Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain hygiene standards in all areas of food handling and preparation. Assist with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, surface sanitation, trash disposal, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and kitchen spaces. Handle weighty items carefully during food handling or inventory management tasks to ensure safety. Support catering or banquet events by setting up serving stations, assisting with food presentation, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in fine dining establishments or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management practices, and sanitizing procedures. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, or specialized culinary tools. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests in person. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Ability to handle manual tasks including weight handling in the workplace while maintaining safety standards. Basic math skills for managing orders, measurements, or cash handling processes. Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous; dietary aide or hospitality experience is a plus. Knowledge of wine service or beverage pairing can be beneficial but is not required.
