About the
Role:
The Busser plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area to ensure a pleasant and efficient dining experience for guests. This position is responsible for promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and supporting the overall flow of the restaurant. The Busser contributes to a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring that the dining environment is clean, orderly, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management. Ultimately, the Busser helps enhance guest satisfaction by enabling smooth service operations and a comfortable dining setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance. Good communication skills to interact with team members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Knowledge of proper table setting and dining etiquette. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds safely. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
