Hi Everyone! Come join one of South Florida's hottest growing Cafe brands in our signature location, Downtown Dadeland. We are looking for an Assistant Manager.
Key Items Salary:
$800/wk plus mandatory service charge (will average $200 - $250/wk)
Work Week:
50 Hours

We hope to see you! - Crema Gourmet Downtown Dadeland Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Front of House (FOH) Cafe Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall operation of the cafe's front-of-house activities, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations. Your leadership will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and staff are motivated to deliver their best. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food service management, team leadership, and creating memorable guest experiences. Duties Assist in managing daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Support the training and development of front-of-house staff, including baristas, servers, and cashiers, to uphold service excellence. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels. Supervise customer service interactions, resolve guest concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience. Assist with shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands during peak hours. Support kitchen management activities related to food safety, food handling, and food production processes. Contribute to budgeting efforts by tracking sales, controlling costs, and minimizing waste. Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that complies with health regulations and safety standards. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and quick-service restaurant operations. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant environments. Experience in food safety protocols, inventory control, and food handling procedures. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high service standards. Skilled in staff training & development, interviewing potential team members, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Background in restaurant management or food service management with casual dining or fine dining experience preferred. Competence in budgeting, food cost control, and operational planning within the food industry. Exceptional communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
