In this multifaceted role, you'll support the front-of-house operations by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and dining areas. Your proactive approach will contribute to a vibrant, efficient, and guest-focused atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Duties Greet guests warmly as a host, guiding them to their tables and managing reservations with clear communication. Assist servers by bussing tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Support food service operations through proper table setting, refilling water glasses, and delivering dishes with attention to safety and presentation standards. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning tables, chairs, floors, and service stations regularly to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or trash while practicing safe lifting techniques to prevent injury. Communicate effectively with team members using internal communication tools to coordinate service flow smoothly. Assist in catering or special event setups when needed, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed for a seamless experience. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards within the hospitality industry. Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as cleaning and bussing efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Experience in table setting, serving, or catering is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
