Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders with professionalism, providing friendly service while upselling menu items to enhance sales. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation procedures, including proper food handling and kitchen equipment cleaning. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling throughout shifts. Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, fryers, grills, and other food preparation tools. Support food safety management practices by adhering to health regulations, monitoring food storage temperatures, and preventing cross-contamination. Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues in food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties. Ensure compliance with all sanitation standards and safety protocols to uphold the highest quality of food service. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques and food industry safety standards. Experience operating POS systems such as Clover POS is advantageous. Background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations is beneficial. Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining a clean work environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
