Food & Beverage Attendant Overview:

The Food & Beverage Attendant in the Bistro is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while allowing our guests a special dining experience, with a smile as you greet guests to explaining the menu offerings, take food and drink orders, you deliver a high level of service that exceeds our customers expectations.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide friendly, attentive service and build positive guest connections by anticipating needs and making thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
• Answer questions regarding menu items, beverages, hotel amenities, and restaurant services.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including specialty drinks and cocktails, while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Assist with light food preparation and maintain attractive, well-stocked food displays.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately while balancing the cash drawer as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including side work, opening, and closing duties.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to requests or concerns.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and federal/state alcohol service regulations.
• Support team members and assist in other areas as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Job Requirements:

Have a keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills. Should have a TIPS Certification. Pleasant and friendly demeanor. Able to work as a team and independently. Flexible working hours. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Physical mobility and stamina. Must be able to pass a background check. Ability to follow instructions.
