Food Services Worker Job Description This role supports a busy college cafeteria by preparing and serving lunch and dinner to students, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area, and delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced foodservice environment. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items such as sandwiches and other basic menu items according to established recipes and instructions. Cook simple foods and assist with line cooking duties in the cafeteria kitchen. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive and courteous experience for students and guests. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by wiping tables, counters, and service stations regularly. Restock essential items such as silverware, napkins, condiments, and other supplies to ensure continuous service. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of La Crosse, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
