In this role, you will be the first friendly face our guests see, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met. Serve guests with a friendly attitude, assisting with food selections and answering questions about menu options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving utensils. Replenish food items and beverages promptly to ensure a continuous flow of service during peak hours. Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations. Monitor dietary restrictions and special requests, accommodating guests' needs with professionalism and care. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation for breakfast offerings, including catering or banquet setups if applicable. Experience Prior experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly desirable. Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve direct guest interaction. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards within the food industry. Banquet or catering experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to manage large groups efficiently. Barista experience or familiarity with beverage service can enhance guest interactions. Previous roles as a dietary aide or in restaurant settings provide valuable insight into food handling and customer care. A strong background in hospitality or food industry positions that emphasize excellent customer service and attention to detail.
