Qualified Staffing is seeking a dependable, hands-on Assistant Cafeteria Manager to support daily operations in a fast-paced cafeteria environment in Forsyth, GA. This position is ideal for someone who has previous food service and management experience, enjoys working with people, and can take initiative in a busy kitchen. Prior kitchen or cafeteria supervisory/ management experience are preferred.

Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Kitchen Manager with the daily operation of the cafeteriaHelp supervise and support kitchen staffAssist with food preparation and meal servicePrepare food according to standardized recipes and established proceduresHelp oversee meal production, serving line setup, food presentation, and food qualityMaintain proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standardsAssist with maintaining accurate food, equipment, and supply inventoriesAssist with kitchen staffing and work schedules as neededOperate and maintain food service equipment safely and properlyAssist with required reports and other documentationHelp ensure state and local health codes and food service requirements are followedProvide a positive and professional experience for students, staff, parents, and visitorsAssume the Kitchen Manager's duties during temporary absences or as assignedAttend required meetings and trainingsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous food service experience requiredHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious supervisory, kitchen leadership, or food service management experience preferredStrong communication and supervisory skillsAble to effectively work with and support a teamAble to follow written and oral instructionsBasic computer skillsDependable, punctual, and willing to take initiativeMust be able to pass a fingerprint and criminal background check Why work for Qualified Staffing?
