We are a privately owned family of restaurants expanding into locations well-suited for authentic restaurants. We are looking for experienced professionals wishing to grow their career in the hospitality industry on our team. At our Milton location, we are hiring Hosts, Hostesses, Bussers, and Food Runners whose personalities and character are well suited to our mission and who are truly the face of Campania. These Support Staff members must be primarily focused on the guest experience with a friendly demeanor, as they are often among the first team members our guests will encounter. We count on our team to set the tone immediately and strive for every guest to feel warm and welcomed. To promote family and quality of life for our team, we close our restaurants every Monday, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and Super Bowl Sunday!
Responsibilities:
Greet every guest with a warm and welcoming smile, ensuring they are seated and receive attentive service. When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant. Assist guests with reservations and guide them to their table. Maintain a waitlist during busy meal service, provide accurate wait time estimates, and notify guests promptly when their table is ready. Optimize seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for the wait staff. Seat guests based on their preferences, including indoor, outdoor, or bar seating. Relay messages to servers or bussers as needed. Assist with clearing and resetting tables promptly to maintain an efficient dining room. Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately while ensuring proper presentation. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Thank every guest or party as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Host/Hostess, Busser, or Food Runner in a full-service restaurant is preferred but not necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
