Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Server Assistant and Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll support the serving staff by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach to bussing tables, assisting with food service, and ensuring sanitation standards are met will contribute to a seamless and enjoyable restaurant atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests using precise table setting techniques. Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort. Assist with food delivery from kitchen to dining area, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of hot or heavy items through safe lifting practices. Support kitchen staff by handling manual tasks such as transporting supplies or dishes while adhering to sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas through regular cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving tables, chairs, or supplies to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Strong communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards applicable to the food industry. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Experience with table setting, bussing procedures, and general restaurant operations is a plus. A proactive attitude with excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming dining environment. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
