Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Eagle Dining Services Job Summary The Student Assistant will support Eagle Dining Services as a Student Ambassador on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities Serve as front-of-house student support of Eagle Dining by promoting dining programs, events, and services through student engagement and creative content Assist with planning and executing campus events Create engaging social media content (photos, videos, and posts) Help showcase the dining experience while building connections with the student community Represent Eagle Dining Services in a professional and enthusiastic manner Gather student feedback and share insights to improve the dining experience Support marketing initiatives and other promotional activities as needed Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Shifts available Monday - Friday Occasional work hours in the evenings and on the weekends due to event time frame Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Comfortable engaging with students and representing Eagle Dining in a positive, professional manner Interest in social media, photography, video creation, or digital content development Creative, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team Experience with Canva, Instagram, TikTok, or other content creation tools is preferred.
