Location Armstrong Campus - Savannah, GA Department Information Dean of Students Office Job Summary The Work Study Student will support the Dean of Students Office as an Office & Food Pantry Assistant on the Armstrong Campus beginning Fall 2026. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Please confirm your Federal Work-Study eligibility with the Office of Financial Aid or Request Federal Work Study Eligibility Here. Responsibilities Assists with the organization and coordination of the Captain's Cupboard Food Pantry Provides support to the office's Administrative Assistant, including help with special projects Contributes to marketing and social media efforts Supports the reception area by answering phone calls and assisting visitors Shift Specifics Up to 14 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Shifts available Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM Schedule will rotate between the Captain's Cupboard food pantry and the Dean of Students Office Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. Other Required Qualifications Must be Federal Work eligible. Proposed Salary $12.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
