Role:
Kabuki Okazuya in Aiea, HI is looking for passionate and hardworking individuals to join our food service team! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, we'd love to have you bring your energy and aloha spirit to our kitchen and counter. Come be a part of a local favorite that keeps the community coming back for more!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of okazuya-style dishes and food items with consistency and care Assist with food prep, portioning, and packaging for daily service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and service areas Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner Answer phone calls, take orders & process customer orders accurately Restock food items and supplies throughout the shift as needed Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Requirements:
Previous food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred but not required Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain one Ability to work early morning, weekend, and/or holiday shifts Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused demeanor Familiarity with local food culture and okazuya-style cuisine is a plus
