Job Description
This is a non-merit temporary position. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise. This is a non-merit position starting at $14.95 per hour. The Iowa Veterans Home is interviewing to fill temporary Food Service Worker positions for the a.m. shift. Applicant will work 5:45 a.m.-9:45 a.m. This position will require a weekend rotation. The successful candidate will perform manual food service work in the serving of meals and the cleaning of dietary items and areas; performs related work as required.
