The Food Service Aide is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining area. In addition, assists in the serving and preparation of food.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 5am-1pm and every third weekend on a rotating basis
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assists in the preparation of food and sack lunches, does necessary prep work. Assists in serving food, maintains salad bar. Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities. Operates dish-washing equipment. Cleans and checks service equipment. Fills salt, pepper and napkin dispensers after each meal. Assists in moving and storing supplies. Works within established safety guidelines.
Requirements Minimum:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Preferred:
Three months experience in a food service area preferred.
Knowledge:
Individual should have well-defined habits of personal cleanliness and hygiene. Must meet State or local food handling requirements, whichever are more restrictive. Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificates.
