Overview Our Wingate by Wyndham hotel is seeking dependable and friendly Breakfast Attendants to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in keeping the breakfast area clean, stocked, and welcoming. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry. We are seeking one individual for two days a week to start. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday mornings 7 am to 12 pm. Occasionally maybe one hour earlier or later depending if we have early or late groups in house. Duties Setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet: This includes ensuring all items are readily available and appealingly displayed. Welcoming guests and providing personalized service: Greeting guests with a smile and assisting with any questions or requests.

Restocking and replenishing the buffet:

Keeping food and beverage items fully stocked throughout the breakfast service.

Clearing and cleaning tables:

Removing used plates, glasses, and cutlery, and wiping down tables as needed.

Maintaining cleanliness:

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the breakfast area, as well as doing the dishes at end of day.

Assisting with other tasks:

Helping with laundry, public area cleaning, etc.

Following health and safety regulations:

Adhering to food handling procedures and cleanliness standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food handling and or customer service is preferred. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes. Physical stamina to perform duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
