Job Description

Turf Catering is growing, and we're looking for dependable people to join our catering team. This isn't a standing-behind-a-counter kind of job. One day may involve preparing for a wedding at Turf, another may mean loading a truck for an off-site event, setting a buffet for 200 guests, serving a plated dinner, or helping get everything cleaned, packed, and back where it belongs at the end of the night. We're looking for people who enjoy hospitality, work well as part of a team, and aren't afraid to jump in and get things done. What You'll Do Assist with setup and breakdown of weddings, banquets, corporate events, and other catered functions Prepare dining rooms, buffet lines, beverage stations, tables, linens, and service areas Load, unload, organize, and transport catering equipment and supplies Assist with food preparation and packaging when needed Serve buffet, plated, family-style, and other catered meals Refill food and beverage stations and maintain presentation throughout events Bus tables and keep guest and service areas clean Assist guests professionally and courteously Help with dishes, cleanup, equipment organization, and post-event reset Follow event timelines and direction from catering leadership Travel to off-site events when scheduled We're Looking For Someone Who Is extremely dependable — catering operates on a timeline, and our clients are counting on us Has a genuine service mindset Is comfortable talking with and assisting guests Can stay calm and professional during busy events Pays attention to presentation and small details Works quickly and efficiently Is willing to do everything from carrying trays to moving tables to washing dishes Can take direction while also recognizing what needs to happen next Works well with different team members from event to event Restaurant, banquet, catering, serving, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required for the right person. Applicants should be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods and performing the physical tasks associated with event setup and service.
Schedule:
Catering schedules vary and may include weekdays, evenings, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional holidays. This can be a great fit for someone looking for flexible or supplemental hours.
Pay:
Based on experience, position, and event responsibilities. At Turf, catering isn't simply dropping off food. We're there to take care of people, and we're looking for team members who understand the difference.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
