In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for breakfast service, ensuring that all food offerings are prepared, presented, and maintained to the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help set a positive tone for the entire day, making every guest feel valued and satisfied. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring freshness, presentation, and adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures Set up breakfast buffet stations with appropriate food displays, utensils, and condiments in an organized and appealing manner Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment through regular cleaning routines Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, warmers, and food processors safely and efficiently Assist with food handling tasks including portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet items as needed Follow manual handling protocols when lifting or moving heavy items like trays or bulk supplies to ensure safety Support dietary accommodations by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting guests accordingly Requirements Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality environments preferred; banquet or food service experience is a plus Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards Strong customer service skills with a focus on in-person interactions and positive guest experience Experience with food handling procedures, including sanitizing protocols to ensure hygiene compliance Ability to handle weight in the workplace responsibly when moving supplies or equipment.
