What you will be doing:

Reports to the supervisor, food services or designee. Assists with cleaning and sanitizing the facility, in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions :

Wash dishes and stock supplies to the services line Clean and sanitize food preparation area, dining area, serving lines, and dish room; comply with health standards Provide positive, quality customer service to students, staff and other center customers Support, promote, and enforce the Job Corps' Zero Tolerance Policy Participate in student employability programs and activities Promote the development of career success standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students where necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions Maintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices; attend all required staff training.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Some school/training in food preparation and 90 days on center Aptitude for cafeteria-type duties and dress to comply with sanitation regulations Valid food handler's permit if required by the state of employment.
