Job Summary Energize your career as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences across diverse food service settings. Duties Support the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet services. Assist with staff training and development to uphold high standards of customer service, food safety, and food handling procedures. Supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams during shifts, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to quality standards. Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food production and cost efficiency. Oversee POS systems Clubessential for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards related to food preparation, kitchen management, and sanitation practices. Participate in interviewing potential team members and contribute to staffing schedules that meet operational needs. Support management in budgeting activities, cost control measures, and maximizing revenue opportunities across all food service outlets. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain a positive guest experience. Assist with special event planning like banquets or catering functions to ensure flawless execution. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Strong background in culinary arts with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures. Demonstrated supervisory skills with previous roles involving team management, training & development, and shift supervision. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Knowledge of inventory control practices and budget management within a hospitality setting. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant environments is highly desirable; barista or coffee experience is a plus. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure.
