The successful candidates must have outstanding customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and be a team player. The Breakfast Host/Hostess is responsible for preparing, executing, restocking, and cleaning of the breakfast/kitchen area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare, setup and take down of the daily complimentary breakfast buffet based on Marriott brand standards. Ensuring that the breakfast buffet always remains well-stocked and is replenished quickly and efficiently. Welcomes guests and provides professional, prompt service with attention to guest needs. Maintain cleanliness of entire breakfast area and kitchen, including equipment, during and after breakfast hours. Cleaning and sanitizing tables/countertops. Responsible for cleaning breakfast and kitchen area after breakfast. Inventory breakfast items regularly and help unload weekly food order. Complies with company, hotel, and brand standards as well as all safety standards which encourage a safe and efficient hotel operation. Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working order.
