POSITION

Food Service Assistant, Full Time

LOCATION

Valley Hi Nursing Home HOURS:

6:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. every other weekend and holidays required

JOB SUMMARY

Valley Hi has an established homelike, resident-centered culture, providing services ranging from short-term rehab to skilled nursing, including Hospice services. Valley Hi is looking for caring, friendly people who love working with the elderly. We have one immediate opening for a full time Food Service Assistant. The Food Service Assistants are responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to: Preparing desserts. Delivering meals to varying dining rooms. Cleaning the kitchen and meal areas. Washing dishes, putting dishes away, and cleaning cupboards. Performing light janitorial duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED; Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a long term care setting in the dietary department preferred. McHenry County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
