Job Description

Help Us Create Something Special! At Pioneer College Caterers, we believe dining is about more than serving meals. It's about creating an experience. As we prepare for the 2026-2027 academic year at Hesston College, we are building a team of hospitality-minded individuals who take pride in serving others. Whether you're preparing food, greeting guests, stocking stations, or working behind the scenes, every position plays an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience. We're looking for people who are dependable, positive, team-oriented, and committed to serving others with excellence. Positions are expected to begin on or around July 29, 2026. We are currently accepting applications and scheduling interviews. Available Positions May Include Breakfast & Lunch Cook Dinner Cook Baker & Pizza Cook Relief Cook / Weekend Closer Salad & Deli Attendant Cashier Utility & Stock Attendant Prep Attendant Dishwasher Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends depending on the position. What You'll Do Depending on the position, responsibilities may include: Preparing and serving fresh food according to recipes and quality standards Baking pastries, desserts, pizza, and specialty menu items Assisting with food preparation and production Providing exceptional hospitality to students, faculty, staff, and guests Operating a point-of-sale system and processing transactions Stocking food stations, beverage stations, and dining areas Maintaining clean and organized workstations Washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Assisting with catering events, campus functions, and special events Following food safety, sanitation, and allergen awareness procedures Supporting teammates to ensure successful meal service What We're Looking For Positive attitude and servant's heart Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Commitment to hospitality and guest service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and grow Ability to work independently and as part of a team Food service experience is preferred for some positions but not required for all openings Why Work With Us?
