Are you looking for an evening position where you can help make delicious meals for hungry college students? Apply now to join our dining services team at Central Christian College of Kansas in McPherson! We are looking for someone with evening and weekend availability. The Food Service Worker works in the dining center during the lunch and dinner service periods, helping to complete the meal service, clean up and prepare the cafeteria area for the next day.
This role will work within the dining services department, mainly FOH (front of house) to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, work cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, and provide excellent customer service and guest interactions while helping to maintain a safe, clean and attractive facility at all times.
Typical shift schedule: 10:30am•7:30pm. Tuesday thru Saturday. We serve meals in a cafeteria setting 7 days a week•weekend availability is a plus!
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Knowledge of proper food safety, food handling, storage and service techniquesExcellent customer service skillsFamiliarity with batch cooking techniques, time management to avoid over/under productionPrior foodservice experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent•preferred but not requiredServSafe certification•optional We Offer our
