Job Summary Join our vibrant restaurant team as a dedicated Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this role, you will support the service staff by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach to clearing tables, assisting with food handling, and ensuring sanitation standards are met will contribute to the overall success of our hospitality team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service and hospitality while working in a lively, customer-focused setting. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean and properly set for new guests Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and delivering food or beverages as needed Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices Support food safety protocols by ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards are upheld Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service delivery Assist in basic catering setup and breakdown for special events or large parties Manage internal communication channels to relay guest requests or issues promptly Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with sanitation procedures, table setting, and food handling practices within the hospitality industry is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Knowledge of food safety standards and basic catering or hotel experience is a plus Experience working in fast-paced environments within the food industry or hospitality sector will help you excel in this role Join us as a Restaurant Busser and be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
