Job Description:
Food Service Worker Part-Time, PRN, First Shift BHCOR-Food Service. I Corbin, KY The Food Service Worker supports daily food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, cafeteria service, and kitchen sanitation. This role helps ensure high-quality food presentation, excellent customer service, and compliance with food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food assembly , including washing, cutting, measuring, and preparing ingredients. Support patient tray line and cafeteria service while maintaining food quality and portion standards. Prepare and restock beverages, condiments, desserts, and other cafeteria items. Deliver patient trays and assist with meal distribution as needed. Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions when assigned. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, food service equipment, utensils, and workstations. Wash dishes, pots, and pans following established sanitation procedures. Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures. Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines. Provide friendly customer service and assist with other food service duties as needed. Requirements No formal education required No prior experience required (food service experience preferred) Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification preferred Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen or cafeteria environment
