Breakfast Attendant | Job Description LodgeWorks is actively hiring for a Breakfast Attendant Who we are LodgeWorks is a privately held hotel development and management company. Job overview The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing the highest quality of service possible to guests in an efficient and courteous manner within the hotel. In addition, this individual shall be well-versed on hotel-brand standards, guest expectations and local area. Your day-to-day Greet customers upon arrival to the dining area. Provide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient manner. Answer questions, create an upbeat atmosphere for guests. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards. Clear and clean tables as guests leave. Set tables throughout the shift when applicable. Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner to assigned areas. Maintain proper set-up of dining area. Preparation of food according to LodgeWorks/brand standards and ensuring temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations. Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen and dining areas. Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum dining area. Support other areas or roles when necessary. Ensure all food orders are put and stored in proper places with proper dating. Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times. Clean out all refrigerators and reach-in coolers daily; label, date and rotate items Graciously respond to guest concerns or requests, and report the situation to the Manager. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. Execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation. Complete any other tasks as requested by management. Who you are A team player with a heart for hospitality. Entrepreneurial at heart and innovative in mind. Have or be capable of obtaining TIPS certification or other required alcohol safety requirements. An expert in prioritizing with the ability to use time wisely. Dedicated with a strong work ethic and can work both individually and with a team. Steadfastly driven to ensure the safety and security of the guests and their belongings. Comfortable following directions, guidelines and work objectives. Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Capable of standing for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time. Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling.
