FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for
Food Service Substitute Workers Work Hours:
3.75 hours per day
Location:
District Wide Schedule:
Start time varies, depending on location assigned to.
Pay Rate:
$16. per hour
Duties Include:
Under general supervision, perform a variety of assigned duties to measure out and prepare foods according to established recipes, serve and cleanup work and dining areas. Prepare and serve food as needed for Breakfast, Lunch and Snack Bars (if applicable). Work with such equipment as ovens, steam table, peeler, can opener, mixer, usual knives, spoons, ladles, etc. grills, meat slicer, steamer, and registers. Duties include such activities as to cook various meats, mix ingredients, wash and peel vegetables, open cans, make desserts, salads, and sandwiches. Serve Breakfast and Lunches to faculty and students, serving portions as instructed. Scrape pans, wash pots and pans, sweep floors, clean dining tables, set up stations with napkins, straws, etc. Carry food to or from coolers or refrigerators, put excess foods away, clean all Kitchen equipment, and Snack Bar equipment (if applicable). Perform other related duties as may be assigned or directed. Attend training meetings to keep abreast of changes and improvements. •Ability to work as a team. •Possess good customer service skills. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow oral/written instruction Experience in Food Service preferred
