Immediately Job Description Head Cook Prepares, cooks, sets up and serves all breakfast items for up to 750 students Prepares, cooks and sets up all hot lunch items according to menu and production records for up to 750 students Cooks and replenishes all food needed throughout all scheduled lunches Performs other functions appropriate for the position as assigned Assistant Manager Assists in meal planning, meal preparation and meal service Creates order lists based on menu Maintains inventory lists of dry goods, freezer and refrigerated food items Ensures cash registers are closed and counted for each meal service Prepares cash deposits, when necessary, for Manager to deliver to bank Serves as back-up for submitting monthly reporting to the state Assists in maintaining food safety documentation, including production records and temperature logs, required by the local Board of Health and MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Perform other functions appropriate for the position as assigned Annual work calendar = 208 days Daily school schedule: 5:30 am to 1:00 pm Annual Salary $60,000.00
