Job Description TITLE:
Cafeteria General Worker
TYPE OF POSITION
Part-time (5.75 hours/day, 28.75 hours/week); anticipated start 8/31/2026; salary per collective bargaining agreement (range $18.58-$20.91/hour), commensurate with experience
LOCATION
Hopkins School, Hopkinton, Massachusetts
AREA OF CONSIDERATION
All qualified candidates The Cafeteria General Worker assists in the preparation, presentation, and clean-up of school meals.
DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to: To serve food to students and staff, according to instructions; To clean any area of kitchen according to sanitary regulations; To store all food properly; To follow all safety instructions when using equipment; Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered qualified for the position of Cafeteria General Worker , candidates must have/be: High school graduate or GED preferred; Ability to read basic operating and use instructions; Ability to give and receive instructions and information; Basic knowledge of food service and sanitation practices; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Food Service Director or Superintendent may find appropriate.
