The goal of the program is to provide nutritious meals to children 0-18 throughout 5 open and 1 closed sites within our district. The program will operate Monday through Thursday.6 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am-1:00 pm (may vary depending upon the site, and the number of people assigned).This position is required to work at a minimum 6 weeks of the 7 week program.

Mandatory training will be provided prior to the start of the program.

Responsibilities:

Individuals selected for these positions will be responsible for: -Serving and accounting for meals given to children-Assists with record keeping-Ensures the health and safety of students and personnel by instructions in adherence to The Massachusetts Sanitary Code-Maintaining a clean site at all times-Travel in your own vehicle to transport food to meal service sites -Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment-Accurate record keeping; attention to detailIn addition, some individuals may be assigned to prepare and serve hot food. All individuals hired are required to attend a mandatory training session.
