Secondary responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, coffee maker, iced tea machine, carts, and perform other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and stock stations with all necessary equipment and supplies for the day. Complete opening and closing side work. Maintain clean and orderly stations throughout the day. Keep walkways, common areas and wait stations clean. Assisting and providing service to members and guests. Promptly clearing and resetting all tables. Ensure restaurant cleanliness by cleaning tables and chairs. Supporting the restaurant team by polishing silverware in a timely manner. Pouring water when table is sat and continuously throughout shift. Assisting servers in any capacity necessary to make the shift run smoothly. Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and members.
ABOUT YOU
Previous Restaurant Busser / Server Assistant experience preferred, but not required. Ability to Listen and follow through with instruction. Ability to smile, be pleasant, and accommodating. Be hospitable. Speak and read English and follow procedures. Work at a fast pace, stay productive. Dependable - Report to work, in uniform and ready to work. Exercise common-sense.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess valid identification and social security card. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Adhere to Kenwood Country Club policies, including, but not limited to, the NO Cell Phone policy.
DRESS CODE / UNIFORM
You wear all black non-slip shoes, black slacks, and black belt. Kenwood will provide a polo shirt to be neatly tucked in and a nametag. You must have a good hygiene routine and neatly combed hair pulled back from your face.
AVAILABILITY
We are open Tuesday through Sunday and on Holidays. Typical shifts are 10:30am to 3:30pm (AM Shift) and 4:30pm to 9:30pm (PM Shift) - Times will vary.
PAY RATE
This position pays the current Montgomery County, MD minimum wage as allowed by law.
