Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Perform plating responsibilities for hot and cold prepared foods and general set up and side work during the hours of the café's operation. Food will be served in a professional, courteous, and cheerful manner to residents, guests, and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Greets residents and guests in a friendly, timely manner with a smile. Responsible for taking meal/beverage orders and serving requested items according to established policies. Assist in the preparation of beverages requested by customers quickly and confidently, has a thorough knowledge of coffee drinks. Maintain all side stations and dining areas using the "clean as you go" policy. Assist with special events and functions as needed. Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Assist with orientation and training of new food servers. Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures. Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene. Attend all in-services as required. Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
