Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitizing procedures to ensure guest safety Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and other small appliances Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and assembling menu items while adhering to dietary guidelines Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle weight-based food items with care Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any special dietary needs or requests Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures required for maintaining health standards Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy trays or supplies safely in accordance with workplace safety guidelines Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring ingredients accurately Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems necessary for efficient service delivery Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Experience in catering or dietary aide roles is advantageous but not mandatory Must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks efficiently, and work flexible hours including mornings This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about delivering outstanding breakfast experiences.
