This position plays an essential role in delivering elevated dining experiences by assisting servers, maintaining impeccable dining room standards, and ensuring seamless service throughout each event and meal period. Responsibilities Assist servers in providing attentive and personalized service to members and guests Deliver food from the kitchen promptly and professionally, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy Clear, reset, and maintain tables according to The Village Club's fine dining standards Refill water, bread, and other table necessities while anticipating guest needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, service stations, and banquet spaces Polish glassware, silverware, and service equipment to ensure impeccable presentation Assist with banquet events, weddings, private parties, and club functions as needed Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards Provide warm, professional, and courteous interactions with members, guests, and fellow team members Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, country club, hotel, or banquet experience preferred Passion for delivering exceptional guest service Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays or service items throughout a shift Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events About The Village Club For over a century, The Village Club has been a cornerstone of the Bloomfield Hills community, offering exceptional dining, social events, and private celebrations in an elegant and historic setting.
