Job Description

We are a school catering company looking to hire a Full and Part-time food service worker at one of our fabulous school-based programs in the metro. Staff will aid in food preparation, service, and general kitchen duties.
Rate:
$16.50 - $19.00 per hour, Paid Weekly!
Hours:
7:00am-2:00pm - hours may vary Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Prepares and serves food according to menus and portion controls. Verifies food quality, quantity, and freshness when receiving when receiving food. Temps food upon receipt and before serving. Ensures that all food preparation is done in a timely manner as to meet schedules. Communicates shortage of menu items to Field Kitchen Supervisor. Places dishes in dishwasher and cleans dishes in pot and pan sink as needed. Stocks dishes, glassware and silverware as needed. Maintains a neat and orderly work area at all times. Completes opening and closing duties in accordance with approved procedures. Reports any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management. Maintains a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe the company dress code. Operates all equipment appropriately as required. Completes paperwork. Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities. Communicates effectively with all members of the school. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior restaurant experience helpful.
