High school diploma or equivalent, Previous experience in food service preferred, but not required, Ability to work a flexible schedule. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.
Pay Rate/Range:
$23.52/hr.
Compensation/Benefits:
An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.
Deadline:
6/30/2027 -- EOE (7/21/2026) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check and a required pre-work screening.
Job Summary:
The Substitute Child Nutrition Associate will perform a variety of duties to assist in the set up and serving of food and cleaning and sanitation of the child nutrition operation.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including cutting fruits and vegetables. Serve food to students and staff, ensuring that proper portions are given and that food is served at the correct temperature Clean and sanitize the cafeteria, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and washing dishes Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including wearing gloves and hairnets when required Maintain a positive and friendly attitude when interacting with students, staff, and parents Other duties as assigned by the cafeteria manager or school administration Email To A Friend Print Version
