In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a delicious, high-quality breakfast buffet, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and replenish breakfast items, ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, including arranging food displays and condiments Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a hygienic environment at all times Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly in-person service Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and dining areas regularly to uphold cleanliness standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or catering experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and food preparation Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like coffee makers, ovens, or warming trays Strong customer service skills with a focus on in-person interactions and hospitality excellence Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or flexible shifts as needed Food industry or culinary experience is highly desirable; barista or banquet experience is advantageous This role offers an engaging environment where your dedication to quality service makes a real difference.
