Job Summary This position typically starts at $12.00 per hour plus tips and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full ‑ time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days. The Employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Responsible for pre-bus/ bus tables, remove dirty dishes, maintain clean side stations, counters and create a clean, safe and healthy environment for our guests How You Will Create the Extraordinary Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and team members, and has the resilience to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow team members. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads ‑ up, ready ‑ to ‑ serve attitude. Responsible for pre-bussing and bussing of all guest areas including but not limited to scraping and stacking plates, cups, silverware and removal of any dirty linens, transporting dirty items to dish pit or appropriate area. Responsible for acknowledging customers in a friendly and timely manner, addressing them by name whenever possible. Approach each situation with a "yes we can" attitude, every guest every time. Assists wait staff and host/ess as needed. Responsible for maintaining clean and organized side stations, counters and guest areas. Restocking items as required. Knowledge and demonstration of workplace safety procedures. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames Comply with our drug & alcohol-free workplace. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Need Must be at least 18 yrs. of age. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management. Must pass a required background check. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with black slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, bus carts, dollies, bus tubs, glass and silverware racks. Ability to read simple instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members. Ability to move effectively and efficiently around restaurant, between chairs, tables and guests with multiple distractions and large groups of people. Walking/standing 100%, of which Bending/lifting 40% (overhead at arm's length, up to 50 pounds) Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. Must obtain required food handlers permit.
