Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team at our hotel. This role is essential in providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area, and delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and food safety standards. Set up the breakfast area, including arranging food displays and ensuring all items are stocked and presentable. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, adhering to food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and knives safely and efficiently. Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing friendly service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash register transactions accurately when necessary, utilizing POS systems effectively. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items. Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any expired or spoiled items. Requirements Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory. Basic cooking skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Ability to work early morning shifts and maintain flexibility in scheduling.
