Job Description
The Assistant Dining Room Manager is responsible for managing and assisting the overall operation of the front-of-the-house food and beverage experience for all guests which includes but is not limited to dinner, bar services, events, group services, coffee stations, and pantries.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Training and knowledge of teamCommunicate all internal informationCoordinate schedule needs of staffDaily operation of dining room: openings, line-up, service, and closingCoordinate daily needs of both shifts to ensure proper coverage and care of guestsCoordinate room set-ups/floor chartsMonthly china/linen/silverware inventory and ordering needsDevelopment and support of team and captainsSupport the wine programSustain the positive morale of the teamSpecial cleaning projectsMonitor service standardsMonitor dining timesManage guest seating plansCollect information and remarks from guestsGuest communicationOversee daily menu productionOwnership of corporate meeting functionsAttend weekly team meetings / Group Meetings /All Manager MeetingsMaintain the look, maintenance, and cleanliness of their restaurantMust comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS and

years operational management or supervisory experience in an upscale dining room Knowledge of wine and spiritsComputer experience: word processing, spreadsheets, property management systemsLANGUAGE
