        JOB SUMMARY
The Dual Rate Food & Beverage Cashier is a hybrid position that works as a Food & Beverage Cashier on some days and as a Food Service Supervisor on others. Team Members' responsibilities vary based on that outlet's operational needs. In the cashier capacity, the position provides warm, attentive guest service, processes payments accurately, assists with seating and guest inquiries, and helps maintain a clean and organized environment. In the supervisory capacity, the role supports daily food‑service operations by guiding team members, ensuring product and service standards are met, assisting with scheduling and reporting, and leading shift‑level communication and service recovery efforts. When assigned to the Employee Dining Room (EDR), the Dual Rate Food & Beverage Cashier may perform additional back‑of‑house and food‑service duties. These responsibilities include assisting behind the serving line as needed, supporting food preparation, and ensuring proper cooking methods, temperatures, sanitation, and storage of prepared items and leftovers. The role helps maintain efficient EDR operations while upholding all food‑safety and quality standards. When assigned to Room Service, the Dual Rate Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for managing the cash register bankroll, processing all payments and room charges, and maintaining accurate logs and charge records. The role requires strong menu knowledge, accurate order‑taking, and timely processing of guest requests, including VIP comp orders. Additional duties include verifying guest information, dispatching and tracking deliveries, coordinating tray pick‑ups, and assisting with routine inspections and inventories of room service equipment and supplies. The position supports smooth in‑room dining operations while ensuring prompt, professional guest service.
