Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Worker to join our team in Faison, NC.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)2+ years of experience in food service industryKnowledge of health and safety regulations related to food serviceStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Preferred:
Associates degree in culinary arts or ServSafe Food Managers Certificate and documented years of related experience in quantity cooking.1+ years of verifiable experience in food service/cooking fieldPrior experience with quantity cooking Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:
Follow all established service plans as outlined in the Nutrition and service area manuals. In collaboration with the supervisor receive, unpack, food, supplies, and date according to procedures. Conducts weekly inventory. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of all food service activitiesPost monthly menus in English, Spanish, and Creole (as needed) in the kitchen and Parents Bulletin Board and document substitution as needed with the Center Directors approval prior to meal service.What we offer you:
