Giannos Hospitality Group, in partnership with Eastchester Venue Partners, is looking for an Assistant Director of Catering & Hospitality Operations who is hungry to grow, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has extraordinary attention to detail. Our hospitality operations include weddings and special events, catering, event venues, venue sales and management, and luxury short-term stays. What You'll Do Assist with planning and executing weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and other catered events Work directly with clients throughout the planning process Assist with event timelines, floor plans, menus, rentals, vendors, staffing, and logistics Participate in client consultations, tastings, venue tours, and sales appointments Assist with wedding ceremony and reception coordination Help lead event teams through setup, service, event execution, breakdown, and cleanup Maintain exceptional standards for service, presentation, organization, and guest experience Work closely with catering, culinary, venue, sales, and operations teams Anticipate potential problems and solve them before they affect the client or guest Assist with event and venue sales, inquiries, follow-up, and client relationships Support day-to-day event venue operations Assist with the operations, sales, and guest experience of luxury short-term rental properties Manage multiple events, clients, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Be willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver an exceptional experience The Person We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Hungry to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility Passionate about hospitality and serving others Exceptionally organized Known for extraordinary attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly A strong and professional communicator Calm and solutions-focused when something doesn't go according to plan Comfortable taking the lead while also being willing to work alongside the team Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision Comfortable communicating with wedding couples, families, corporate clients, vendors, venue owners, and hospitality partners Professional in your appearance, communication, and conduct Available for the schedule required by the events and hospitality industry, including evenings and weekends Experience We Value Previous experience in one or more of these areas is welcomed and strongly desired: Catering operations Wedding planning or wedding coordination Event planning and execution Wedding or event venue operations Event or venue sales Hospitality management Luxury guest services Luxury short-term rental or vacation rental operations Short-term rental sales Restaurant or food-and-beverage operations A degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, Event Management, or a related field is preferred but not required. Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time salaried position , with compensation based on experience and qualifications. Hospitality doesn't operate on a traditional Monday-through-Friday schedule. Candidates must be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and other hours dictated by weddings, events, and hospitality operations. This position is based in High Point, North Carolina , with regular travel to catered events, managed venues, and hospitality properties throughout the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas.
