As a Food Service Worker / Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting both our employees and our dining facility. You'll safely transport employees to and from work and help keep the dining hall clean, organized, and welcoming.
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION

Full-time Location:
Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Pick up employees and safely transport them to work. Help employees feel welcome and comfortable during transportation. Complete your scheduled transportation route safely and on time. Assist with cleaning and stocking the dining facility. Help maintain a clean dining area for service members and guests. Work with your team to complete daily tasks. Follow safety procedures throughout your shift. Transport employees home safely at the end of the workday.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience driving a passenger van, shuttle, or other transportation vehicle. Experience transporting individuals with disabilities or providing community support services preferred. Experience in food service, janitorial, custodial, or hospitality environments preferred. Experience working on a military installation or secure facility preferred. Basic understanding of safe driving practices and traffic laws. Ability to operate a vehicle safely while following all applicable traffic laws and company safety requirements. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Valid REAL ID. Ability to obtain and maintain government base access. Be willing to learn and follow instructions. Show up to work on time and be dependable. Be friendly, respectful, and supportive of others. Be comfortable assisting employees with transportation and workplace support. COMPENSATION
This position starts at $17.75/hour.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Standing:
Required to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
Walking:
Frequent movement throughout the galley, dining areas, storage rooms, and service locations.
Lifting:
Frequently lifts and carries supplies, cleaning materials, trash bags, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Pushing/Pulling:
Regularly pushes and pulls carts, trash containers, floor equipment, and supply racks.
Bending/Stooping:
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching while cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas.
Climbing:
Occasional use of ladders, step stools, and stairs to access equipment, storage areas, and high surfaces.
Manual Dexterity:
Requires repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
Vision:
Must be able to identify sanitation concerns, safety hazards, spills, and cleanliness deficiencies.
Temperature Exposure:
Regular exposure to varying temperatures, including hot kitchens, dish rooms, freezers, coolers, and outdoor loading areas.
Wet Conditions:
Frequent exposure to wet floors, water, steam, and cleaning solutions.
Chemical Exposure:
Routine contact with cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, degreasers, and sanitation products while following established safety procedures.
Noise Levels:
Moderate to high noise levels from commercial kitchen equipment, dish machines, floor care equipment, and food service operations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Required to wear and properly use protective equipment, including gloves, slip-resistant footwear, aprons, and other assigned PPE.
Military Installation Requirements:
Must comply with all military installation security, safety, and access requirements.
Work Schedule:
May be required to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
