What you'll do: Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents Prepare and stock snack carts Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures Maintain infection control and safety standards Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors Attend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasks What we offer: Competitive hourly paybased on experience Professional liability insurance Flexible schedule On the job training/mentoring as needed Continuing education What we're looking for: High school diploma, equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility a plus
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases Full range of body motion including handling and lifting objects Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility Why us: Our Dietary Aide's care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
