Job Description

Job Title:
Bus Person Summary:
Job purpose of bus person is to efficiently clean and reset tables, to assist servers wherever needed and to uphold the standards of cleanliness, efficient service and friendly guest relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean dining room floor and seating areas Bus the restaurant, clearing empty plates, glasses, silverware and wrap food as needed Assist servers as needed Wipe table tops and chairs with damp sanitized cloth Ensure dining rooms and tables are neat, organized and ready to be sat in a quick and efficient manner Monitor and take out garbage as needed Replenish ice bins as needed Carry dirty dishes and/or bus buckets from dining room to kitchen Sweep parking lot of debris at least once per shift Clean bus pan and garbage shelves Clean out and replace dining room butlers Reset dining rooms for party functions, sweep and put chairs up at the end of the night Clear communication and teamwork Complete sidework duties Adhere to company policies and procedures Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently Perform other duties as assigned

In this position, the employee is regularly required to stand/walk for long periods of time, bend and regularly lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
