Job Overview The Ainsworth Hoboken is seeking a dedicated and energetic to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our restaurant's operations, ensuring seamless service, impeccable cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This is paid hourly plus tipout from all front of house staff for a busy restaurant on the water in hoboken. Responsibilities Assist with food service duties, including serving guests efficiently and courteously Maintain cleanliness through regular cleaning and bussing of tables, ensuring a hygienic environment Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting during setup, restocking supplies, and food handling with safe lifting practices Set up tables with appropriate table settings, ensuring a welcoming presentation for guests Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and sanitation procedures to uphold food safety standards Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly Contribute to catering events by assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleanup as needed Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations within the food industry Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Experience in catering or hotel environments is a plus but not required Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and energetic approach Familiarity with internal communication tools used within restaurant or hospitality teams Join us to be part of a lively team that values dedication, teamwork, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
