The Senior Food Service Handler act as "general assistants" working under the direction of a Food Service Supervisor, Cook and/or Head Cook in the storage and preparation of food for cooking and serving to our patients and staff. Some job responsibilities will include but are not limited to preparing fruits and vegetables for cooking/serving; preparing salads, desserts, and beverages; cutting of meat; washing of pots, pans, trays, and cooking utensils; maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly kitchen; maintaining an inventory of food supplies.
